Accreditation at GW

The University is accredited by its regional accrediting agency, the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), which accredits degree-granting colleges and universities in Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and several international locations.

GW is on the approved list of the American Association of University Women and is a member of the College Board.
