WASLAN
Started in February 2009, the Washington Area Student Learning Assessment Network (WASLAN) includes representatives from each of the members of the Consortium of Universities of the Washington Metropolitan Area who, as part of their job descriptions, are responsible for assessing learning outcomes for their respective universities. Its mission is to promote quality assessment of student learning by sharing information about best practices and emerging trends; to sponsor workshops on assessment, primarily in specific disciplines; and to engage in the active exchange of ideas and consider grant-funded projects across universities.
